An update from the owners: We did have a problem with our carpet cleaners this spring. That problem should be taken care of now. The master bedroom door as well as the other interior doors have been replaced. They should close and open freely now.The sliding glass door has been repaired. There is free wirelass! We aim to keep our condo in tip top shape!

This is the first time I rented a vacation unit and it was a great experience. The unit is fresh, clean and well decorated. Although we only prepared breakfast and lunch, the kitchen was equipped to prepare a 7 course meal for 8... in style. Love that the unit came with 2 nice beach chairs and umbrella, all set up and ready for lounging every day. This unit includes everything you could possibly want.

The view was great! Everything was as told in the summary of the condo. The only flwas were the master bedroom door would get stuck and we would have to fight it open.It is also falling apart. Also the master bedroom bathroom shower curtains dont like to stay on the rode when you open and close the curtains.. These were the only flaws we had. Other wise this is a great place to stay and a great experience. There is no wireless connection either. So make sure you know this as well. all the pictures are the real view you will see! The inside is identical to the pictures as well.

We found this to be everything it was represented to be. It was like home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our staty (Jan-Feb) and would do it again. Would recommend it to anyone. Very clean and well furnished. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The on-site personnel we very helpful and courteous.

Just a note from the owners: Beach set up (two chairs and an umbrella) are now free every day of your stay March- October. They are set up daily for you!

This was a very enjoyable unit and we had a great week. It is spacious, in clean condition, the view is wonderful, being on the beach is great and the unit is generally well supplied. We would note that clients should be advised there are no kitchen linens, we did not know this in advance and had to borrow from our friends. Also the sliding door to the veranda does not slide very well and could use some attention. Having said this we wish to repeat we enjoyed this unit very much and would certainly recommended it to our friends. One highlight of our week was standing on the veranda one morning watching approximately six dolphins jumping and playing. They entertained us for about 10 minutes and it was a beautiful sight.

I loved this condo. It was decorated simple but modern. The furniture throughout the condo was beautiful and the living area furniture felt like a sofa that you would have at home. The kitchen was fully equipped and the granite were fabulous...I would highly recommend this condo....It truly was a "Pure Pleasure".

I also failed to mention a couple of things in my previous review. The security of the complex was great! There was someone always visible at the front entrance. (you have to pass security to get onto the property) This was a great + in my book. They also walked around the property frequently making sure there were no problems. We also saw them walking through the parking area. We were also happy about being able to workout in the fitness area. From the office, you can borrow, free of charge, basketballs, tennis equip, etc. That was nice.

We had a fabulous time while staying at this condo. The private beach was gorgeous! The condo was nicely decorated. Brand new kitchen was great. It was also great to have the washer and dryer in the unit to take care of the dirties. The location is amazing! It's close to everything. Mainsail does have onsite vendors for the beach chairs/umbrellas. It was a little expensive, and wish the chair/umbrella rentals were included in the weekly rental fee. The only issue we had was the bathtubs. Both had EXTREMELY slow drains! We even used some drain cleaner(twice) and it did not resolve the issue. We hope this problem has been fixed. We ARE planning on staying here again.

The room was presented as new, we would be "one of the first to stay". The carpet was stained and there were other places that weren't clean. A mid-week cleaning that was listed was not performed. The beach view is minimal from the balcony. Free internet was advertised and we were not able to access from our room. I called about this and about a parking issue we had and did not get a return call. I called about concerns when I returned home and never received a phone call back, once again. I have stayed at another condo at Mainsail and was extremely satisfied with the property/location. I would recommend Mainsail to anyone, but not this rental.

We were very pleased with the location and the privacy of the condo. The kids really enjoyed the pool area. The choices kept them entertained much longer than just having a single pool. We had a wonderful time (even with the visit from Gustav). I will suggest to renters that they will need to bring extra tissue for the bathrooms as there were no extra rolls and the office was not open when we needed it. Also keep in mind that you are responsible for furnishing your own hair dryer in this condo. We did have a great stay and would definitely consider returning to this very condo.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay in this unit! We could tell that the owners had lovingly furnished and decorated the property with the vacationer's comfort in mind. We were so comfortable--it was like home-away-from-home, only better. The kitchen was supplied with everything we wanted and needed, towels were plentiful, everything was in proper working order, and everything was super clean. In the area just inside the condominium office they have a couple computers that people can utilize along with complimentary coffee and brochures of things to do in the area, and I enjoyed their fitness center while there. They also have covered parking so we weren't stepping into a hot car each time we left to go somewhere. We highly recommend this property for an enjoyable beach vacation!

We spent a wonderful week at the Mainsail Condos, in Miramar Beach. Loved the emerald coast! The sand is sugar indeed! This is the first time that we stayed in a vacation rental home instead of a hotel -- and it was perfect.The condo was on the beach and that made it easy to bring the kids and all our gear. Keyless entry was already sent us via e-mail so we just drove right to the parking lot, into the condo. Everything was in order when we arrived, and we were pleased to learn that the pictures online matched the home. It's actually nicer than the pictures! We'd definitely recommend this unit- especially if you're bringing kids and want to spend a lot of your vacation at the beach. We cooked and grilled outside at all time. With plenty of room for the kids to play outside, we actually found some time to relax on our vacation! We'll be back next year. Enjoy!

This was our first time to the Destin/Sandestin area. All of us enjoyed the condo and found that it exceeded our expectations. Everything was exactly or better than described. The beach is stunning, weather was outstanding and I would highly recommend both this condo and this area to stay in Florida. Location is great, its walking distance to the grocery store (Winn Dixie), Outlet Mall across the street and a short drive to some truly amazing restaurants. We experienced only a minor issue, if rentals are booked for greater than 5 days a mid-week cleaning would occur. This never happened, and I contacted Sandcastles on this several times after our stay and had no response. I look at this as an issue with the rental company not the property. Oh one other point, it should be noted to renters that beach chairs are available for a daily and weekly rate, however its very costly. Minor issues aside, all in all, anyone who stays at this location I'm sure will agree with my comments....it truly is a Pure Pleasure!!
