Despite the fact that you are only a block from the beach (and directly on the beach access), this is one of the most private homes to be found in Crystal Beach. With every amenity imaginable (and then some) The Bon Temps is perfect for entertaining with family and friends or relaxing with a good book and cold margarita.

A partially covered pool area means that you can work on your tan or retreat from the heat depending on the weather. The outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off from the beach or washing the chlorine off from the pool. The front courtyard with fish pond and fire pit is perfect for hosting a boil of the regions famous shrimp, caught fresh from one of the two nearby fish markets.

We provide the pot, burner and recipe: you get the shrimp seasonings. Good food is a way of life at the Bon Temps, with a well appointed kitchen, a gourmet stove, and a gas grill. This well-designed, well-built cottage is the home for a young family for most of the year.

If you have young children or grandchildren coming on vacation with you this is a friendly, safe place to be. Covered outlets, draw-locks, a high chair, a crib, a swing and a rocker are provided for guests to use. The security system lets you know when the door to the pool is opened, and we’ve fenced off pool access.

For families who have stayed here, this helps make the vacation a truly relaxing one. For the kids: The location and amenities of the Bon Temps is perfect. Onsite we have the pool, board games, books, TV, DVD, VHS. Within walking distance are a variety of things to do: The beach, a brand new movie theater (with stadium seating), a playground on the beach, shops galore and even a bowling alley.

For the parents: The Bon Temps has it all. High end appointments, private places to talk and read, open decks to lounge and party, serious cooking equipment both inside and out, beachside service from the Inn at Crystal Beach, proximity to all kinds of entertainment, and ample parking.

The first floor has a bunkroom for the kids with a queen bedroom next door. The master suite has a King bed and is on the second floor with a Jacuzzi, a massive private deck and a romantic couples swing. The third floor offers a queen bed and panoramic vies of the rooftops and palm trees in this magical neighborhood.
